As part of the Leverhulme residency I am creating a series of photoaudio life stories of members of staff from the Department of Archaeology. These will create a personal history of the department. Use the drop down menu Staff Life Stories above to view portraits, tools and listen to members of staff by clicking on the audio player below the portrait.
Each person is asked the following three questions:
1) What project or find you have been responsible for has significantly added to our knowledge of the past or had an impact on wider society today?
2) What do you see as the value of communicating archaeology to students and/or wider audiences?
3) What tool or piece of equipment is useful to your work?
Each person is also asked for a date that is important to them in their work.
