Photographing Thought

Today I spent the afternoon with Mike Parker-Pearson. Part of the day was to discuss some of his research so as to begin thinking about ways of photographing thought – that is how archaeologists turn evidence into theories. We did some portrait photography in front of his shelves of books in Mike’s office which Mike was very patient with.

Mike also gave me a tour of the Portabello stores where finds from departmental field projects are stored. This should provide be a rich vein of material.
